Maintenance

Olive wood is a very hard, solid wood that is more stain and odour resistant than others, which is a vital feature in a kitchen product.

Your olive wood will last a long time if properly cared for and maintained.

Use a food safe mineral oil to maintain your item, especially during the first few weeks of using it.

Hand wash in warm water with a light detergent.

Please do not leave in water because it weakens the wood fibres and can cause splitting and cracking.

Use a lint-free cloth to dry. It's fine to let it air dry. You'll need to use mineral oil from time to time to condition it
